Herb walks are a great opportunity to get up close to medicinal plants growing in your area. Laura will explain about harvesting and gathering, plant uses, poisonous plants to be aware of, as well as both the historical and modern uses of the medicinal plants found on the walks.
Sensible shoes and rain coats are essential.
Some walks may not be suitable for pushchairs, small children and those with reduced mobility. Please get in touch to find out which walks might be suitable.
To book a place on a herb walk
Simply email or text your name, and the date of the walk to either firstname.lastname@example.org or 07946150721. Laura will then add you to the list and send you the exact meeting place for the walk.
Herb walks are limited to 12 people, and only those booked on to the walk will be able to attend.
If you are unable to attend please let Laura know so that your place can be given to someone else.
The herb walks are run on a donation basis, £5 per person is a guide donation (children under 16 free).
